The joy of outdoor cooking
There are so many reasons that so many people are passionate about wood fired cooking, and indeed all forms of cooking with fire. Despite not generally having the weather for it us Brits have always been a little obsessed with the BBQ. At the first sign of sun the supermarket shelves are full of BBQ ingredients, and the smell of charred meat wafts across gardens all around the country.
These days there are so many options available to help take your outdoor cooking to another level. For me that means a traditional stone woodburning oven, and the Kamado style ceramic ovens made famous in the UK and US by brands such as Big Green Egg and Kamado Joe. My website will focus on the experience of cooking with these oven types.
Your kitchen isn't a restaurant or a cafeteria, so stop taking orders! Check out meals everyone at the table will love!
You don't need to be Martha Stewart to create delicious, healthy meals. There are plenty of recipes for cooking as simply and naturally as possible.
I love bread, so really had no choice but to make baguettes and a loaf one of my first cooks with my new wood fired oven
